Ottica D’Amore, the oldest optical store in the city of Avezzano and one of the officially recognized historic businesses, was founded in the 1960s with its store located at Via Mazzini 143.
In December 2017, the company expanded by involving the entire family; just one year after the complete restyling of the Via Mazzini store, “Ottica e Stile D’Amore – La Boutique” was opened in the heart of the city, in Piazza Risorgimento. The opening of the second store marked a further major turning point for the business, which shifted towards a distinctly niche market, completing the differentiation process that began in 2016.
In the autumn of 2020, another major milestone marked Ottica e Stile D’Amore: after years of consistent presence on social networks, the online shop was launched. The products from our stores are now available to everyone, wherever the customer may be.
Another important step took place in the winter of 2021. “La Boutique” in the city center of Avezzano doubled its display area, offering new exclusive brands and introducing the very latest technologies for the production of prescription glasses. The D’Amore stores were unified; “La Boutique” once again became the only store in the city, adopting the historic name “1960”. The D’Amore story continues!
