Ottica D’Amore reserves the right to change the prices of products on the website at any time, without prior notice. However, price changes will not apply to orders already accepted.
All prices shown on the website include VAT. The final price is the one displayed in the cart once the shipping address has been entered, before payment is processed.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have read and accepted these general terms and conditions of contract.
Products are delivered with the original manufacturer packaging and documentation.
In our online store, you can create an account to place orders, track them, and access the latest products released by the brands for which we are official distributors. If you have any questions, please remember to reference your order number provided at the time of purchase.
PAYMENTS
SECURE SSL PAYMENT
We use secure payment with verification by the financial institution to ensure that the cardholder is the person making the payment. Available payments methods:
PayPal
By selecting PayPal as your payment method, you can pay directly through your PayPal account. We reserve the right to ship goods only to the address associated with your verified PayPal account. PayPal is a fast, secure, and easy-to-use payment system that allows you to shop with maximum protection. Your information is fully protected, and your credit card details are never shared with online retailers.
Credit and Debit Cards Visa/Mastercard/Amex
Payments can also be made using major credit and prepaid cards through the international NEXI card acceptance network. This system allows any cardholder to shop in a simple, fast, and secure way. Sensitive cardholder data is protected by encrypted systems, ensuring that no unauthorized party can access your information.
Cash on Delivery (Italy Only)
Cash on Delivery allows you to pay directly upon receipt of your order. At the time of delivery, the total amount due must be paid directly to the courier. The courier accepts cash payments only, and we recommend preparing the exact amount due. This payment method carries an additional fee of €8.00 and is available exclusively within Italy.
DISCOUNT COUPON
If you have one of our promotional coupon codes, you can enter it at the time of purchase in the appropriate space during the checkout phase. The codes are not cumulative with each other or with other promotions in progress, unless expressly specified.
WARRANTY POLICY
All our glasses have a two-year warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects. It never covers breakages due to misuse or wear and tear. To make use of the warranty, contact us by email or by phone.
The customer must send a photo to the email info@otticadamore.it with the defect of the glasses, to carry out an initial evaluation. We will respond as soon as possible, authorizing the user to send us the product. Once received, our warranty department will evaluate the product and the customer will be informed by email regarding the approval or not of the warranty and the approximate time in which they will receive the repaired product.
If there are additional customs charges, they will be borne by the customer. If we receive a package with shipping charges to our account, it will be refused and returned to sender.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY CONDITIONS
Courier
Ottica D’Amore ships worldwide via GLS, DHL or BRT.
Shipping times
Shipping is free and takes 24/36 working hours with GLS, DHL or BRT courier. Shipping for islands and for some areas may take up to 48/72 hours and up to 5 working days abroad. Other products (for example: goods available on order, prescription glasses with graduated lenses) may require up to 15 working days.
The details on availability and actual shipping times are always specified on the page of each product.
Orders placed after 12:00 or on holidays are processed the next working day.
Orders placed on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday.
Once the order has been placed, you will receive an email with the order summary. Subsequently, we will also send you the tracking code of your package. You can use it to check the status of the shipment on the DHL or BRT website.
Shipping costs
Free shipping in Italy (excluding Cash on Delivery +€8).
Insured shipping: €10.
International shipping: €40
Customs charges on non-EU orders are charged to the recipient.
Returns & Exchanges
If the order you received does not meet your expectations or if you have changed your mind and wish to return it, you have 14 days from the date of delivery of the package to initiate the return procedure and obtain a refund.
Returns or exchanges are only possible for unused and intact products (including packaging), shipped in their original condition.
Damaged, used or unsealed items cannot be exchanged or refunded.
How to return or exchange a product
Send an email to info@otticadamore.it specifying:
- Order number
- Selected option (refund or exchange);
- Name and code of the items you wish to return or exchange.
Our customer service will contact you within 24 working hours.
You may offset any price differences. If the replacement product costs less, we will refund the remaining amount.
Return conditions
For orders placed in Italy, the first return is completely free. Collection and shipping costs are borne by Ottica D’Amore, unless you have paid cash on delivery: in this case, only the price of the returned products will be refunded, excluding shipping costs.
In the case of an exchange, collection and shipping of the item to be replaced are free of charge. The shipping cost of the replacement item is borne by the customer.
For returns after the first one or those coming from abroad, shipping costs will be borne by the customer (€10 for Italy, €40 for EU countries).
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction. Refunds via PayPal may not be immediate. If your refund appears as “Pending”, do not worry: this usually depends on the standard verification procedures carried out by the service. If the waiting time exceeds 30 days, contact us and we will provide assistance.
